Foster Park/Overton Park - Located near I-20, Foster Park is another favorite starting spot for its beautiful shaded neighborhoods. From Foster Park, head north to Overton Park Drive where you'll find a running/walking path on both sides of this divided road. While you're in the area you might as well run the hills on Ranch View Road. Water fountains are located at the corner of Overton Park Drive and Bellaire, at Overton Park Drive and Hartwood Drive, and another in Overton Park along Glenwood Drive. The TCU campus is also nearby with a popular running/walking loop as well as a track.

Oakmont Park - In the southwest corner of Fort Worth lies Oakmont Park with its shaded running/walking path that leads south towards Benbrook lake. Trailheads are located on Bellaire Dr S and Memorial Oak. Stay alert as this is also a popular corridor for cyclists. Also be on the lookout for the longhorn cattle that live in the adjacent pasture.
